ON TIME Programme was created for implementation in all three countries with aim of giving recommendations for improvement of prevention, early detection and treatment of breast and colon cancer in the project areas.
This was the community-based approach – accessing population in the places where they reside with the aim to increase access to health services and information.
There were eight promotional - educational events implemented at each country.
Institute for public health of West Herzegovina County organized 2 workshops for representatives of the non-governmental sector, doctors and representatives of public institutions named "The role of government organizations in the prevention and early detection of colon and breast cancer".
Previously developed e-health tool, as one of results from MELAdetect project, was upgraded in the way that users of the tool can enter data on performed and scheduled preventive examinations, which would make it easier for users to record and monitor preventive examinations such as ultrasound of the breast, mammography, colonoscopy, as well as all other examinations performed.
Professional development of health specialists from Project Partner institutions on oncology international conference and other forms of education and training systems.
Lifelong learning trainings for health specialists were organized by public health institutes in each country on the different educational subject.

Mobilni tim Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Županije Zapadnohercegovačke uradio je 42 besplatna preventivna pregleda s mobilnim ultrazvukom i podijelio je 274 besplatna testa za otkrivanje nevidljive krvi u stolici koji služe za prevenciju raka debelog crijeva. U okviru projekta ON TIME - Prevencijom i ranim otkrivanjem do učinkovitijeg liječenja raka debelog crijeva i dojke mobilni tim je posjetio Drinovačko brdo i Puteševicu u općini Grude, Grljeviće i Lipno u Gradu Ljubuškom, Donji Crnač i Britvicu u Gradu Široki Brijeg te Vir i Zagorje u Općini Posušje. Projekt ON TIME financiran je iz Interreg IPA programa Hrvatska – Bosna i Hercegovina – Crna Gora.
Grude, 20.05.2022.
U Grudama, Ljubuškom, Posušju i Širokom Brijegu u okviru projekta ON TIME održane su ulične akcije tijekom kojih su građani pozvani da iskoriste priliku i besplatno se preventivno pregledaju na rak dojke i debelog crijeva.
U subotu, 21.05.2022. Mobilni tim Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Županije Zapadnohercegovačke posjetit će mjesta Donji Crnač, Britvicu, Vir i Zagorje te izvršiti besplatne preglede na rak dojke i podijeliti testove za otkrivanje nevidljive krvi u stolici. Vozilo hitne pomoći bit će opremljeno s mobilnim ultrazvukom na kojemu će dr. Vinka Đevenica, radiolog raditi preglede stanovništva, dok će medicinsko osoblje dijeliti testove za okultno krvarenje zajedno s uputstvima za korištenje. Aktivnosti se odvijaju u sklopu projekta ON TIME - Prevencijom i ranim otkrivanjem do učinkovitijeg liječenja raka debelog crijeva i dojke koji je financiran iz Interreg IPA programa Hrvatska – Bosna i Hercegovina – Crna Gora.
Široki Brijeg, 12.05.2022.
Radionica na temu „Suradnja liječnika, medicinskih djelatnika i nevladinog sektora u prevenciji i ranom otkrivanju raka debelog crijeva i dojke“ okupila je na Širokom Brijegu predstavnike iz Mostara, Hadžića, Livna, Širokog Brijega, Gruda i Ljubuškog. Domaćin radionice je Zavod za javno zdravstvo Županije Zapadnohercegovačke partner na projektu ON TIME - Prevencijom i ranim otkrivanjem do učinkovitijeg liječenja raka debelog crijeva i dojke koji je financiran iz Interreg IPA programa Hrvatska – Bosna i Hercegovina – Crna Gora.
