According to the results of the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, 19 newly infected persons were registered for the presence of the coronavirus, of which 14 were from Ljubuški, four from Široki Brijeg and one person from Grude.

18 people have recovered from the presence of the coronavirus, of which 11 from Ljubuški, four from Posušje and three from Široki Brijeg.

19 decisions were issued on placing persons under medical supervision.

In West Herzegovina County, 14 people are actively infected with the presence of the coronavirus:

- Ljubuški – 10

- Široki Brijeg – 3

- Grude – 1

- Posušje - 0

As of October 16, 2022, in West Herzegovina County, a total administered 21,105 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, of which 9,676 people were vaccinated with the first dose, with the second dose 9,558 people, 1,866 people were vaccinated with the third dose, and five people were vaccinated with the fourth dose.

A total of 27,192 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 were received in West Herzegovina County.

In the period from October 10 to October 16, 2022, a total of five people were vaccinated in West Herzegovina County.

As of October 16, 2022, there are a total of 1,069 doses of vaccine left in the West Hercegovina County.
