According to the results of the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, 124 newly infected persons were registered for the presence of coronavirus, of which 40 were from Posušje, 39 from Ljubuški, 29 from Široki Brijeg and 16 from Grude.

109 people have recovered from the presence of the coronavirus, of which 42 from Posušje, 36 from Ljubuški, 16 from Grude and 15 from Široki Brijeg.

136 decisions were issued on placing persons under medical supervision.

In West Herzegovina County, 150 people are actively infected with the presence of the coronavirus:

- Ljubuški – 60

- Posušje - 44

- Široki Brijeg – 31

- Grude – 15

As of August 28, 2022, a total of 21,017 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 administered, of which 9,666 people were vaccinated with the first dose, with the second dose 9,519 people, and 1,832 people were vaccinated with the third dose.

A total of 26,808 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 were received in West Herzegovina County.

In the period from August 22 to August 28, 2022, a total of 33 people were vaccinated in West Herzegovina County.

As of August 28, 2022, there are a total of 913 doses of vaccine remaining in the West Hercegovina County.
